About the Artist

I find joy in the connections between the visual arts, yoga, music, dance, and journaling. It is for the betterment of future generations, that I feel so lucky to teach, and for the world that holds us all. I do this by contributing as a teaching artist, both within and outside of the classroom. I encourage collaboration and creative risk-taking, which are essential parts of the living education system all around us.

I have a background in studio arts, and drawing is my favorite- whether it is sketching with pencil or redrawing lines within my photography, I enjoy creating work that moves with line. A line is a dot in time as it moves through space, which also so freely explains my own existence. I have also studied and practiced integrative hatha yoga, and am interested in how the visual arts, self-knowledge, and breath awareness cross paths.

Life should be about the joy of the present moment, while limiting suffering within ourselves and in the lives of others.
