This hour-long hatha yoga class is for all levels, and open to beginners. Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance combining the breath and physical poses, or "asanas". There will be a combination of warming up poses and cooling down poses, with deep relaxation at the end of class. This class is great for winding down and cleansing the body and mind after a long day.
"Ha-tha can be translated as ha meaning "sun", and tha meaning "moon." This refers to the balance of masculine aspects—active, hot, sun—and feminine aspects—receptive, cool, moon— within all of us.
